1928 OMEGA SUB SEC WATCH

This is a very rare Omega sub second watch.  What makes this piece even more special is its original factory dial still in excellent condition.  Dial and hands still retain their original luminous (of course, they no longer glow).  The rare original case model is CK 2023 and  measures 31mm  across excluding crown by 38mm lug tip to lug tip.   The solid stainless steel case is in very good original unpolished condition.  Very unique case design as well.  The crystal is brand new.  The movement design and font are of the 20s and early 30s.  The rare manual wind movement is an Omega 26.5 SOB caliber.  The 15 jewels movement serial number is 6954620 dating this watch to 1928.  However, this model usually dates to the early to mid 30s.  This current piece is probably one of the earliest example of a CK 2023.  It has been professionally serviced prior to listing.  But a timepiece of this age is not going to keep accurate time such as one from the 40s, 50s and 60s.  This watch is for a collector, for someone who is not picky about time accuracy, and for a smaller size wrist as this watch is very small.  Original unsigned crown.  Watch will come with a nice genuine leather strap matching the watch perfectly.
