Here is a rare military style Omega vintage watch.  This particular watch model and dial design is available to civilian and to the British Royal Air Force (RAF) during the second world war.  The original RAF version will have engraving on the case back "6B/159" etc.  However, for this particular piece due to the hand sanding on the case back it cannot be confirm whether it was sold to the RAF at the time.  It is definitely a rare and collectible piece regardless.  Very attractive and aged original dial showing visible marks here and there.  Unique original blue steel set of hands.  The movement is professionally serviced and ready for daily wearing.  New crystal.  Crown is unsigned and is original to this watch.  The manual wind Omega 30T2 movement has been serviced and regulated.  The movement serial number is 9953303 dating this timepiece to 1943.  Case model is 2292 and measures 32.4mm across excluding the crown by 43mm lug tip to lug tip.  This case model is available in solid Aluminum or Chrome plated.  This particular piece for sale is the solid aluminum version which is the rarer of the two.  The watch will come with a brand new vintage style handmade genuine leather strap.
