This is a nice and unique piece to add to anyone's vintage Omega collection.  The rare original dial is very attractive and has a nice texture finish to it.  It is seldom to come across such a clean and well patina all original waffle finish dial.  Most have been refinished or poorly aged, but not this one.  The case is made of solid stainless steel and in excellent unpolished condition.  However, there are shallow dings on the case back which do not affect or harm the inside of the watch.  It could be sand down and polish away, but, it is best to leave it in its current original condition.  They are part of the watch's history.  A new case back gasket has been fitted.  The bumper automatic movement has been fully serviced and working strong.  17 jewels movement is Omega caliber 351 with serial number 13229673 dating this watch to 1952.  The case model is 2577-5 SC.   The case measures 34.6mm across excluding crown by 42.6mm lug tip to lug tip.  Will come with a new quality handmade genuine leather strap and crystal is new as well.
