1962 RARE VINTAGE OMEGA CONSTELLATION PIE PAN

This is a special vintage Omega Constellation watch.  This model is similar to the previous model which also lasted for 1-2 years.  However, at the very beginning the dial on this model remain the same as the previous since it does not say "Officially Certified".  Omega removed "Officially Certified" from the previous model because they feel it made the dial appears too busy.  But, decided to re-introduced it back onto the dial of this model as it makes the watch appear more high class.  Therefore, it is absolutely normal to find this case model with and without "Officially Certified" on the dial.  Hence, with or without "Officially Certified" still make the watch an officially certified watch.  Even though, this is a "dog leg" case model, it is not 100% the same as later version which lasted until the early 70s.  This particular case model is 14900-62.  The original case is made of solid stainless steel and measures 34mm across excluding the crown by 43mm lug tip to lug tip.  Original signed crown.  Brand new crystal and new case back gasket.  The automatic movement is an Omega caliber 551 with 24 jewels.  Movement serial is 19038791 dating this watch to 1962.  It has been professionally serviced and ready for everyday wearing.  Comes complete with a matching 18mm high quality croco grain genuine leather strap.  Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
