1967 VINTAGE OMEGA GENEVE CHRONOSTOP WATCH

This is an unusual vintage Omega chronograph watch known as the Geneve Chronostop model.  They are available in a few case styles and variety of dial tones.  This particular model is more collectible and is known to be the "driver dial" wrist watch.  Unlike a regular watch the 12 o'clock position on this timepiece is located at the 3 o'clock position.  This watch is design initially to be worn on the inside of the wrist which allow a race car driver to easily read the time.  However, it is perfectly fine to wear it above the wrist like a normal timepiece as well.  The factory original is a very attractive dark matt gray and in excellent condition.  The two white particular above the "G" is on the crystal and have been blown away.  Brand new crystal and brand new case back gasket.  The case model is 145.010 and made of solid stainless steel.  Case has a measurement of 35mm across excluding the crown by 38.7mm lug tip to lug tip.  This watch has been professionally serviced and chronograph is working correctly.  The Chronostop is for speed timing within one minute.  When the pusher is pressed the red second hand will begin to sweep.  And when the pusher is pressed again the red second will fly back to zero.  The manual wind chronograph movement is an Omega caliber 865 with serial number 25839743 dating this timepiece to 1967.  Will come with a brand new and adjustable Milanese style metal bracelet.
