This is a rare Omega rectangular Art Deco case style watch.  The rare original case model is 2591972 and  measures 23mm across excluding crown by 37.5mm lug tip to lug tip.   The gold filled case is in very good original unpolished condition.  The crystal is in very good condition as well, does show a bit of internal fracture within the crystal near the crown.  Inside the case there is a movement protection metal holder.  The dial is original and in exceptional aged and patina condition.  The manual wind movement is an Omega 301 caliber.  The 17 jewels movement serial number is 11506219 dating this watch to 1948.  Unsigned original crown.  It has been professionally serviced prior to listing.  Watch will come with a new 18mm genuine lizard grain leather strap matching the watch perfectly.
