Here is a rare military style Omega vintage watch.  This particular watch model and dial design is available to civilian and to the US Army.  The original US Army version will have engraving on the case back "US ARMY".  It is definitely a rare and collectible piece.  Very attractive and aged original dial retaining its original luminous hour indexes.  Hands have been freshly relumed.  The movement is professionally serviced and ready for daily wearing.  New crystal and new case back gasket.  Crown is unsigned and is original to this watch.  The manual wind Omega 30T2 movement has been serviced and regulated.  The movement serial number is 10113712 dating this timepiece to 1944.  Solid stainless steel case in its original unpolished condition.  Case model is 2179-3 and measures 35mm across excluding the crown by 42mm lug tip to lug tip.  The watch will come with a brand new vintage style handmade genuine leather strap.
